原來年夜飯也可以這樣美味

社群媒體假新聞氾濫，甚至被認為是影響這次美國總統大選結果的主因。成為眾矢之的的社群媒體龍頭臉書，15日宣布推出可舉報假新聞的新工具，並與媒體和新聞事實查核機構合作，遏止假訊息在網路上流竄，不再當假新聞傳播的幫凶。
臉書副總裁莫塞里在部落格貼文表示，「我們認為該讓使用者發聲，我們不能成為真相的裁決者，所以我們審慎處理這個問題。」他寫道，臉書聚焦的三大努力方向，包括針對「最惡劣中最惡劣」的狀況，以及「為了一己之私，傳播明顯詐欺訊息的垃圾散佈者，」和「讓我們的社群與第三方機構共同參與」。
用戶若懷疑在臉書看到假新聞，只要點一下「這是假新聞」按鍵便可舉發。如果該則新聞被眾多使用者檢舉，系統會把它送交非營利媒體研究機構「波因特學院」（Poynter Institute）相關的第三方事實查核組織，包括美聯社、美國廣播公司新聞網（ABC News），依據「國際事實查核準則」（International Fact Checking Code of Principles）來檢驗新聞的真假。
如果上述機構認定某則新聞的確造假，將被標示為「有爭議」，並附上連結，對使用者說明該「新聞」的爭議原因。假新聞不會遭刪除，但在動態消息的排序位置會往後，若用戶依然想要分享，文章仍可傳送出去，不過會再度收到警告。
臉書在美國總統大選期間，因無法遏制假新聞氾濫而遭千夫所指，甚至被批評放任對民主黨候選人希拉蕊不利的假新聞和負面訊息流竄，力助共和黨川普當選總統。臉書執行長祖克柏選後表示這種說法太瘋狂，並稱臉書上的資訊逾9成9都真實可靠。不過他稍後更改說法，稱臉書長久以來致力錯誤資訊議題，並宣布將以行動打擊惡作劇和其他形式的假訊息。
